Japan-headquartered Miyakoshi Printing Machinery, with their subsidiary Miyakoshi Europe, will showcase the world’s fastest semi-rotary offset press model MLP13-H with reel-to-reel, five offset, hot foil, flexo and die-cutting at Labelexpo Europe, to be held from 25 to 28 September 2017. The machine comes equipped with state-of-the-art features and inline options coupled with high speed. The MLP series has become preferred machine for high quality short-run jobs in European market in a short time.
Provin Technos has started representing Miyakoshi range of narrow-web presses in Indian market from 1 July 2017 as a pan-India distributor. According to Vinay Kaushal, director, Provin Technos, the first installation of the MLP series press (high-end configuration of reel-to-reel, seven offset + 2 flexo+ hot foil + die-cutting) will take place in October.
“The MLP series is the world’s fastest semi-rotary offset press from Miyakoshi and is fast becoming a most preferred press in European market for the target run length of 500m to 30,000m. The MLP series is capable of achieving a mechanical speed of 300 impressions /minute or 121.9m/min,” said Vinay Kaushal, director, Provin Technos.
Kaushal said the MLP series offers a converter high quality printing at a lower cost, easier and fast makeready compared to dlexo/ letterpress. “It has unique Miyakoshi system for stable web tension at high speeds (121.9m/min) for high productivity and high quality printing all the time,” Kaushal said, adding, “Loaded with various inline options, Miyakoshi MLP series gives the customer unique opportunity to produce high quality label at an affordable cost.”
The Miyakoshi MLP series is available in speed ranges from 42.6m/min, 81.3m/min, 101.6 m/min, 121.9m/min depending on the job requirement.
